Introducing...... Jules Gems

This a relatively new venture that evolved from my love of flowers. I started searching wholesalers for unique things to use on my handmade items and discovered a treasure trove of goodies. I don't think any girl can have too many flowers :) . I still have a million ideas for new things BUT need more hours in the day to be able to fulfill these wonderful plans. So keep checking back on the page as new things are being added all the time.
I stock an array of different items from metal charms, jewellery findings, resin, handmade & paper flowers, buttons and handmade embellishments just to name a few!

My name is Sandrine Dawes, I live in Roma, QLD. I have been scrapbooking for 5 years, I have a 6 year-old boy and an 18 months daughter, they are my favourite subjects for scrapbooking. I am currently on the Fat Cats Card Corner Design Team and a kit designer for Circle of Friends, I was on the Word or Whatever Chipboard Design Team for the past 6 months, my work has been published in Scrapbook Creations, Scrapbooking Memories, Australian Stamping and Papercraft Magazine. I would describe my style as freestyle, with a hint of vintage. Hi my name is Sarah and I'm a 28 year old Mummy. I also work casually as a Radiographer- doing X-rays, CT scans and mammograms.

I have two beautiful children; Madeline my cheeky toddler, who is two and a half and Lachlan my darling son, an angel in Heaven.

When I'm not scrapping, working or chasing my daughter around with a camera, I love to spend time outdoors and love quality time with friends and family.

I am a mother and wife to 4 wonderful children and an equally wonderful husband who supports my “hobby” but still thinks it is just about “sticking bits of paper onto other bits of paper”.

I began my journey in Scrapbooking in 2006 when my friend Mel and I went along to a crop night organised by a kinder Mum. And like all of us, I never looked back. I have no idea what I would be doing now if we never went along.

I love this craft and I have been so blessed in the past 2 years to meet so many fabulous girls on line, at retreats and also to be a part of some wonderful Design Teams. My style has changed considerably over time and I love the challenge of finding new techniques and ideas to use on each page. At the moment I love using texture, stitching, paint and mists. A page doesn’t feel complete unless I have used one of them.

I sincerely thank Marelle for the opportunity of Guest Designing for Show Us Your Stuff

A little about me….
I am Trudi Harrison from Victoria, Australia. I am pretty much a 'country' girl at heart who very much likes her modern conveniences. I live in a small country town an hour out from the city of Melbourne with my 2 girls, husband and 2 'fur' boys. Presently I am a SAHM majoring in 'domesticated engineering'.

Over time there have been many hobbies which I have enjoyed. I adore all things beautiful and creative. Without a doubt though, Paper Crafting has become the one for which I am truly passionate about. This passion has indeed burned brightly for the last 6 years. 'Officially' I have been paper crafting since the birth of my first daughter in 2004. Though I have to also say that from a somewhat younger, I always enjoyed recording family holidays and events in a diary and of course these had to be decorated.

I would say that I am perhaps not 'locked' into a specific scrapping style. At times it can be a touch feminine and perhaps quite structured with lots of layering, paper cutting, dimension and detail.

My work will often feature my children, so my inspiration will come from the little things that they will say and do. Inspiration will also come from the product or the photos that I am working with.

I absolutely adore chipboard, floral patterns and blooms and find much enjoyment combining these with my other love of patterned paper.

My preferred genre is 12 x 12 layouts but I will also find enjoyment in creating other projects - particularly altered and home decor items and cards.

I am thrilled to be part of the current Prima Design Team, the Australian chipboard manufacturer Twiddleybitz, Anna’s Craft Cupboard Online Store and the Once Upon A…Sketch challenge blog.

Felicity Wilson!!
Hi, I am Felicity Wilson, live a small country town in central Queensland. A stay at home Mummy, a mother to 2 gorgeous little boys (yes biased too!!), Brae and Piper, and married to a wonderful husband, Brett. I love dealing with the little things that life throws at us, because that generally means I have a story to tell with my scrap page.
I try hard to have that 'tunnel vision' with house work so that I can get messy hands as often as I can.
Now my style - I really have no idea but often people can say 'that's a Felicity page'. I love layers, clusters, paints, sprays, inks and bit white space.
I love this hobby not just for the craft, but for the awesome people online and wonderful journeys scrapping takes me.

I do find myself always making lists because I am orgainsed kinda girl, cooking way to many cupcakes, being a doctor bandaids and a kiss make it better, cleaning that mud that has just come off someones boots, mechanic because sellotape fixes everything, counsellor, all those tears fixed with a quick Mummy talk and hug, financial adviser - forever answering "can I have this Mummy?" - So I guess that means I juggle a lot to able to use my creativity as much as I can.

I feel so special, honoured and humbled to be at GDT here this month :D

Sarah Martin!

Hi my name is Sarah and I'm a 28 year old Mummy. I also work casually as a Radiographer- doing X-rays, CT scans and mammograms.
When i'm not scrapping, working or chasing my daughter around with a camera I love to spend time outdoors and love quality time with friends and family.

I started scrapbooking through my local scrapbook shop in 2005. I had a hiatus of a few years and just last year I attended a couple of classes at a local shop after which my mojo returned. And for all of this year I have been enjoying the world of online scrapping- forums, blogs and challenges.

My daughter, Madeline is two, so she of course gives me so much content to scrap with! I predominately scrap layouts about her at the moment but also still do cards, mini album and off the page projects for friends/ family and the odd layout here and there of my and my partner Dwight : )My scrapping style is always evolving and could be described as eclectic! I love using layering, lots of embellishments, distressing, using fabric, different textures and paint effects.

Now Ebony just could not wait until November to complete her layout - she loves using circles at the moment - and just look who she scrapped - one of our fab new DT members love love this!!

Here is my layout - I always find I have leftover centres of chipboard bits left over so I misted the circle to match my layout and made my own journalling circle block (chipboard on my layout is Scrapware)

OOHHH I am so thrilled to announce:

My name is Tara Scobie, I live in country NSW, at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. It is a beautiful place to live year round and I just love it here!... I live with my partner Mark (of 13 years) and our 3 kiddo's Jaiden, Tanika and Zayne.
I have been scrapping for about 7 years now, on and off. I never really got serious about it until about 2 years ago after my last baby turned 1.. I am a current Scrapbooking Memories Master, and am on the Design Team for SCRAPWARE chipboard, I am also currently on the CT for STUCK?! sketches.. My favourite subjects of my scrapping are definately my kids, and sometimes of my sweet little Niece Bryelle.
My scrapping style lately would be a little bit messy, and very colourful! I love butterlies on my pages, as well as paint and some handwritten journaling!!

Hi, my name is Leonie and I live in Geelong, Victoria. Along with my Husband of 11 years, Greg and our 4 children, Will (10), Andrew (8), Hamish (8), and Maggie (6).
I started Scrapbooking when I was pregnant with my twins in 2003. And truly I love everything about this craft; preserving our family’s day to day moments, the creative outlet for me, meeting fabulous like minded people and the amazing online world of scrapping, blog challenges, forums etc. I’ve become so passionate about my craft that everyday will find me scrapping in some way or another, even if it’s just 15 minutes tucked away in my study.
I enjoy learning and trying lots of different techniques in my scrapbooking and I think that is part of the attraction of blog challenges. They always offer something a little different, something to help push you in new directions. Having said all that at the moment I like to use mists and masks on most my Layouts.

My name is Sophie, I am 16 years old and I live on a farm in country Victoria with my mum, dad and younger brother. I am currently studying Year 11 VCE and when I leave school I want to study graphic design.
I love to scrap and have been for six years. This is the first design team I have been on and I'm so excited to start creating for SUYS. I was a guest tutor for Kim Archer's online site last year and sometimes create layouts for my local scrapbooking store.
On my layouts I love to use paint or mists, bright colour combos and handmade embellishments. My friends, 10 younger cousins and hobbies often find their photos on my pages.

Hi, my name is Raquel, I'm 27, a primary school teacher and I live in Geelong, Victoria. I have a gorgeous fiancé and we are getting married in December, so no kiddies just yet! We have shared an amazing last few years where we were lucky enough to live in London. Wow! What an incredible experience we had, so many memories I am still left to scrap!

I LOVE to scrap, and my favourite parts about scrapping are not only the gorgeous products but also the fantastic online community that I have found since I started scrapping. I have not been on any DT's as such, though I work at my LSS teaching and also on their website, so that has helped me keep up to date in the scrapping world. My favourite things to scrap are the things that mean the most to me – those special people in my life who I adore! My boy, my friends and my family feature the most on my pages. CHANGES AT SUYS

From November SUYS will have some changes to its format!
On the first day of every month we will have a sketch challenge which will be due by the end of that month. Then on the 15th of the month we will have Group 2 challenge which will be due by the 15th day of the next month. This gives you a month to complete each challenge.

The following changes will apply from October:

- All layouts submitted for Showusyourstuff must be original works and not submitted for any other online challenges
- You may only enter one layout per month
- Members of the current Creative Team are not eligible to win monthly prizes
- Your sample must include at least one handmade item -
- All criteria must be covered in order for your layout to be eligible to win
- You may enter both challenge - but only 1 layout in each challenge please
