SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

The September challenge is to use the colours RED And WHITE!! Please don't forget your handmade item on your pages!!  Here are some of the DT's samples!

I was lucky to meet Kim and Sarah at an interstate retreat for the first time!!!

Now peeps you may use black as an extra colour, but we would love to see RED and WHITE predominantly!

Hi everyone,
I have been MIA - I moved house, we have been without internet, phones, etc for wayyyy too long!
My husband has had pneumonia and in bed for 9 days - I am still upacking boxes and have my scraproom filled with boxes (at least I finally have my own room!)

I would like to extend a HUGE thank you for the support of this site to our DT : thanks to you girls - you truly are fabulous and have held the fort while all of my chaos has been taking place.

I am off to an interstate retreat MOJO tomorrow morning early, will be back online on Monday - thanks for everyone's patience over this time.

August Challenge

This months challenge at SUYS is a Sketch Challenge. Creative team member Kim is creator of the challenge site 'Sketches with a Twist' (SWAT), so this month SUYS and SWAT have teamed up to bring you this months challenge. This means that for this month you can enter your creation in both challenges if you follow all the criteria for both sites on the one layout :)

The sketch is below (thanks to Annette Gearside, one of the SWAT team members for creating the sketch):

To enter this challenge at SUYS don't forget that you need to also have a handmade embellishment. AND this month if you want to enter it over at SWAT it also needs to include a 'safety pin' somewhere :)

Sophie's

Sophie's handmade embellishment is a flower she has made herself to coordinate with her page, awesome hey! Loving the colour palette she has chosen here.

Next we have Charmane's layout

Here Charmane has used her own handmade creations; Charms Creations Fabulous Flowers and Flag Banners. The banners and flowers work perfectly with the SWAT sketch!

She has also used an A Piece of Cake Designs 'Cherry Flair' button from the 'Everyday Cork' range.

OUR JUNE CHALLENGE IS A QUOTE CHALLENGE !

Apologies for lateness of this post, computer problems once again have prevented me from posting.
This month is a quote challenge!

The quote is : "Laugh as much as you breathe, and live as long as you love'

Here are some of the fabulous DT samples!

First up we have Shophie's layout, she has used the lollipop embellishment from The Embellishment Avenue

Next we have Leanne N's wedding layout : the "Love" embellishment from Embellishment Avenue works perfectly with this gorgeous layout.

Next we have Leonie's layout :  I love the background on this one - Leonie has incorporated the star and blue embellishment from the Embellishment Avenue it looks fabb

Lastly, we have Raquel's layout. Raquel has cut the quote out cardstock using her silhouette machine. Her handmade item is a banner which she made from heart cuts and a sewing machine.
