Last Day!!!

Hi everyone, last day to get your challenges in as well as the dt call!!!!

I just wanted to share with you this gorgeous book done by Tracey Taylor who just missed out getting her entry in last month because of the time zones. I thought it was such a gorgeous book and she has put a lot of time into it, that i wanted to share.

April challenge #2

Hi everyone, im here with the second challenge for april. It is an easy one this month, and its a product challenge.

BUTTONS........Big buttons, little buttons, lots of buttons or one or two. Its time to show them off!!!

So lets see what the design team have come up with. They had some gorgeous product from wicked princesses to play with.

First up penny..she has scattered some gorgeous buttons around with her wicked princesses flowers.

Another gorgeous layout from eb, and how clever is she using the button in her title!!! I love the button gilly has on her wicked princess flower....

How gorgeous is this..... I love her big yellow button and the gorgeous girl button.. I love it leanne...
And lastly another gorgeous layout from bridge, and love her mixture of buttons with the wicked princess flowers.

April Guest Designer!!!!!!!

Hi everyone and welcome to our guest designer for april.

Its Chloe Neilson. Chloe has entered some gorgeous creations onto this site in the past few months, so i am very pleased to have her as guest designer for the month.

Hi there, my name is Chloe Nielsen and I live in Queensland with my husband and 2 children. I have been scrapping for 7 years now, but only seriously for 4. (Having children means so many pics to scrap!!) Scrapping for me is my creative outlet, my stress relief and a perfect way to record our precious family memories. I find it hard to define my style, I'm not even sure I have one, but I guess you could say most of my pages are clean and simple with the odd non-scrappy item added. April Challenge #1

Hi everyone, can you believe its april already!!! I know that i cant. Well this month the design team were lucky enough to have been suplied with some gorgeous products from wicked princesses. The challenge this month is a colour challenge, pink, yellow and blue as well as this gorgeous sketch by michelle fowler. You may use black, white or kraft with your colour. And dont forget your handmade item.

First up is kims layout and i love these papers and her theme!!

Next up is nadia, and what a gorgeous card!!!

Loving the soft pastel colours of krissys layout and loving that gorgeous flower cluster.

I love sams take on the sketch, what a great range of photos.

And finally mine. I loved using these flowers!! I find them so easy to use and they fit in anywhere.

Well there you have it girls, i cant wait to see all the pink, yellow and blue come in. You have till midnight 30th april to get your entrys in.

March challenge #2

Hi everyone. Mid month is upon us again and here we are for our second challenge this month.

We have loved seeing your March 1st entries so far and hope to see many more. Check out the awesome prizes up for grabs this month here.

Now, onto the 2nd challenge for this month.

 This month we have a sketch challenge for you and along with this sketch you are to include a number in your title. Don't forget to include a handmade item!!!

Here is what our design team came up with. They had some goodies from Purple Pumpkin to play with.

First up Gilly. She had used some of Purple Pumpkins gorgeous owl buttons. I know I cant get enough of these...

Gilly also has used one of Purple Pumpkins flowers to make this gorgeous headband!! I love it Gilly..

Next up Penny who has used Purple Pumpkin buttons and flowers in her gorgeous layout...

Leanne has used a Purple Pumpkin flower, which she has misted to suit!!!

Bridge has done a gorgeous layout...

and Ebony has also used a Purple Pumpkin spotty buttons (that i love as well)!!

March GUEST DESIGNER!!!!!!

Jess Mackenzie......I really love jess work and i love reading her blog. One very talented lady:)

Heya there gorgeous gals! My name is Jess...Although you can call me Princess Jess 2nd the First if you like.....Ahem....Anyhoo I'm Married to an AWESOME Guy who works VERY hard, so I can fund my scrapping......I have a GORGEOUS son Elijah who provides me with FAB photos to scrap....ANd just incase you hadn't already noticed....I'm pretty ADDICTED to scrapping : )
My style could be described as.....ummm...a bit nutty and colourful I suppose.....I love paint splatters, buttons, BRIGHT colours and lotsa texture....I'm most definately NOT a neat and tidy scrapper....the only thing I use my ruler for is to scratch my feet when they are itchy and I can't be bothered bending all the way down to my toes......TMI??
This challenge was SUPER DUPER fun....I scrapped my love of fresh flowers. Firstly because I love flowers....duh....and secondly because my Bday was coming up and I needed a NOT SO SUBTLE hint to give to my hubby about what I would like...and it worked!!!
Soooo thanks Kerry for the AWESOME challenge...I'm very honoured to a guest designer at SUYS.....
Oh and have you noticed the GORGEOUS Purple Pumpkin buttons & doily?? The fab Miss Sam H sent these to myself and the dt to play with.....how GENEROUS is she...and the colours couldn't haven't been more perfect!! Thanks Sam : )

March Challenge #1

Hi everyone!! March already. Goodbye summer!! I know a lot of you are looking forward to some cooler weather but where i am we did not get much of a summer and today is wet, windy and cold!!!

Thank you everyone who entered last month, I was totally blown away by all the entries and you have certainly made it a hard job for us dt members. I'm glad one is a random pick!!!

Well onto the first challenge for March.

**Scrap something that you cant live without**

and include a handmade item(by you or someone else)

I love the different takes the design team has done with this. Purple Pumpkin has kindly donated some goodies to the design team this month, so check out her gorgeous goodies on their layouts.

First up is Samantha's  layout, and i think most of us can relate to it!! What gorgeous buttons!!

Next up is Krissy and she has used one of Purple Pumpkins yummy flowers...Krissy has also used the Love kit from Wicked Princesses store..

Here is mine and i have used a button and flower from Purple Pumkin,

Kim has done a fab card and that button is soo sweet,

and lastly Nadia. I love all her fussy cutting and bits and pieces and her use of that Pretty Petals handmade flower.
