July Mid-Month Reveal!

Hi everyone!
With much of Australia having received an icy blast this past week, we hope you have all been keeping warm and dry and have had a chance to scrap! (And for those of you in the northern hemisphere who are currently enjoying the summer...lucky you! haha)

This month we have a colour challenge for you that has been designed by DT member Cally Brunner...

You will need to use the colours from the palette to create your entry (and can even be inspired by the photo if you wish!) and you must also include a handmade embellishment. Remember that you are not limited to creating a layout for our challenge - art journal spreads; cards; pocket page spreads; or even off the page creations are all welcome as long as they are created solely for our challenge and fit the criteria.

We are also lucky enough to have Cally (from Cally B Designs) supplying our prize this month. Take a look at this haul of goodies she has for our lucky winner...

Now here's what the rest of our team created for this month's challenge...

Cally
Handmade items from Burdys Embellies; Charms Creations; D-lish Scraps.
Also hand torn and sprayed card strip and (daughter Sammies) altered paper clip.

This month's challenge comes courtesy of design team member Janet Bott and looks like this...

That's right - it's time to dust off all those poor "abandoned items" in your stash and put them to good use again! In conjunction with that, we also have a sketch for you to use as inspiration for your creation and as always, you must also include a handmade item.

This month's sponsor is none other than the lovely Janet's very own handmade business...

The Resin Rainbow specialises in unique handmade resin embellishments and much more! You can keep up with all their latest news here, and shop in their Etsy shop here!

Loved this challenge. Everything on my layout, except the photos, has been in my stash for a very long time - inlcuding the cardstock & paper. I have used buttons, brads, eyelets, wire, braid, pins rhinestones. I think the shells were from one of the first pack of embellies that I ever bought - many moons ago!. My handmade item is the flower. I put two flowers I received in a swap together.

Amanda
Managed to somehow include all the abandoned items! Lol.
Handmade item is the Gold vellum bow from Rainbow Splendour.

We hope these pages have inspired you to have a go at our challenge!

All entries need to be linked by midnight June 30!
