April Guest Designer Inspiration!!!

Hi SUYS Fans!
Have you tried out our Stamping challenge yet?

This month's sponsor is design team membere Deena with a voucher from Stampin' Up

This month we have the wonderful Kat Gray playing along as our Guest Designer!

Kat says: Hi! I'm Kat and I live in Melbourne with my three boys who very graciously put up with my craft addiction; my husband (Peter), three year old son (Rupert) and rescue greyhound (Boston). I've been scrapping for about three years but have been making handmade cards and cross stitching for as long as I can remember. I also love to quilt and to make mosaics. Basically, I love to cut up pretty supplies and put them back together to make something even prettier. My scrapping style mostly clean and graphic and I usually incorporate stitching in my pages. I love to participate in crafty challenges because they encourage me to try new things and use up my stash. I share my craft adventures on my tumblr blog (katscraft.tumblr.com) and on instagram (https://www.instagram.com/katgraycraft/). Thanks so much for having me at Show Us Your Stuff!

Here is the card that Kat has desinged for us! Check out all that detail!

We hope Kat has inspired you to play along. Don't forget to load your entries before midnight April 30!

April Challenge!!

A new month means a new challenge, and we have an awesome (and maybe messy) challenge for you this month!!

This challenge has been designed by DT member Deena. She would like to see you get creative with that big tub of stamps that we know you all have, but might not use often!

In addition to the stamping, you are also required to include at least one handmade embellishment on your creation. (Our design team always provide plenty of inspiration about different handmade embellishments you can include - these can be homemade or purchased.)

You are welcome to create any project you wish for this challenge layout / card / art journal spread / canvas / pocket page spread - as long we can see how you have used your stamps and included a handmade embellishment. Please note that entries must be created solely for our challenge - we do not permit combined challenge entries.

Our wonderful sponsor this month is DT member Deena, with a voucher from Stampin' Up!!

Deena says: Card making and stamping has always been my first love, it's what started me on my creative journey. In Oct 2013 I decided to join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator. I had been using the products for a few years by then and wanted to share them with others.
At Stampin' Up!, we are excited to share our exclusive line of decorative stamp sets and accessories for greeting cards, scrapbooking, craft projects, and home decor! Since 1988, our wide assortment of stamp images, techniques, and designs has been helping crafters discover and express their creativity. Stampin' Up! products are not sold in stores but may be purchased at home workshops or through a network of independent sales consultants called Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Currently, more than 45,000 demonstrators throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom teach the art of stamping and share their enthusiasm for stamping, scrapbooking, and card making.
