June Challenge!

Hi everyone! Well winter is finally officially here, hoping it's not too cold at your place yet but if it is, am hoping you are rugged up and warm.
This month's challenge comes courtesy of design team member Janet Bott and looks like this...

That's right - it's time to dust off all those poor "abandoned items" in your stash and put them to good use again! In conjunction with that, we also have a sketch for you to use as inspiration for your creation and as always, you must also include a handmade item.

This month's sponsor is none other than the lovely Janet's very own handmade business...

The Resin Rainbow specialises in unique handmade resin embellishments and much more! You can keep up with all their latest news here, and shop in their Etsy shop here!

Now for some DT inspiration to get you started this month...

I included lots of my abandoned items - coloured cardstock, flat paper flowers, pearls, rhinestones, buttons, a pin, twine, tulle.... and the colour purple!
Handmade items  - Flutterby Designs flair, Charms Creations heart, Burdy's Embellies chevies, and my own cut glitter frames.

Forgotten items are rubons, bling and twine. Handmade items are Burdy's Embellies chevrons, Rainbow Splendour pretty pin, D-Lish Scraps flair, and twine daisy made by me.

Abandoned items - blue lace and gold stars.
Handmade items - Rainbow Splendour bow, D-Lish Scraps Dream Big, feathers and flower, Charms Creations cloud

Handmade items from Rainbow Splendour, Charms Creations, Greastest View and Burdy's Embellies

Handmade button and flair

Loved this challenge. Everything on my layout, except the photos, has been in my stash for a very long time - inlcuding the cardstock & paper. I have used buttons, brads, eyelets, wire, braid, pins rhinestones. I think the shells were from one of the first pack of embellies that I ever bought - many moons ago!. My handmade item is the flower. I put two flowers I received in a swap together.

Managed to somehow include all the abandoned items! Lol.
Handmade item is the Gold vellum bow from Rainbow Splendour.

We hope these pages have inspired you to have a go at our challenge!

All entries need to be linked by midnight June 30!
